Ah this week has been crazy, the past 6 months I have been doing a lot of graphic design, and have not been able to get behind the camera as much as I wanted to. Realizing that I decided that after the art show in Lancaster, I wanted to come back and get back to do my photo thing. And sure enough, the week after I get back, I have projects booked for 11 days straight. Now you’d think, 11 days straight. Crazy. But no, I am actually very prepared for the work load, and excited about each and every shoot.
Here are some projects I’m working on this week: WATCHOUT! THERES GHOSTS “GHOST TOWN” CD Artwork
LA CIRCA Press / Promotional Photos
ALL SHALL PERISH Rockett Photos
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA Live in San Francisco
UNDERNEATH THE GUN CD Artwork
CATHERINE Press / Promotional Photos

LA CIRCA CD Artwork
MISERY SIGNALS Press / Promotional Photos
NORINA KENORA Press / Promotional Photos
A great list of projects, that I’m so excited about. So if I’m distant, or hard to get a hold of, you know why. Also, finally, a break from making myspaces! (granted, I enjoy them)
I also have a huge project I’m putting a proposal together for, which could be gigantic, so please keep your fingers crossed, and send your best wishes!

Sons of Nero is a design group of four guys that create artwork for bands and their albums. They create the CD cover, the booklet found in the jewel case, the artwork for bands’ websites and much more. Now the group is taking their material to new levels: they’re making it into a true art form worthy to be put on display on any wall, whether it be inside one’s house or in an office lobby. But for now the artwork of Sons of Nero will be on display at the Metropolis Gallery in Lancaster through November 30…(click to read full article)
Check out this video (dont worry, there is no sound) of the gallery, taken by PennLive.com:
It’s finally here! The First Ever SONS OF NERO Art Show is now hung at the Metropolis Art Gallery (Lancaster, PA) Portland spent his Wends. morning hanging the pieces with the gallery owners, in preparation for the show this weekend.
I catch my flight at 6:00AM tomorrow and will be back late Sunday. Should be an amazing weekend with friends, art, accomplishments, humility & a ton of fun.
This four piece from Atlanta, GA is for all of those Paramore fans. They posted some samples from their upcoming EP (that hopefully we’re doing the artwork for) Check em out! This is one of my favorite myspace layouts I’ve done!
The election is over! It’s time for our country to come together and NOT stand divided. This past year people have pointed fingers, said hurtful things about peoples personal beliefs and opinions. Now for the next four years, we have a man that just inherited the hardest job in America, The Presidency! now whether you voted for Obama or McCain, Barack Obama is our President, and he needs everyone’s support, White, Black, Asian, Democrat, or Republican, it’s time to come together, to change this country.
In the past several years, hardcore punk and heavy metal have continued to become gentrified and have entrenched themselves in popular culture. Extreme music has found its way to mainstream popular culture, and has had an accompanying look as gritty as its sound… (read the full article)
