Spent an amazing Saturday in Sacramento with the boys in Drop Dead, Gorgeous. We did a sweet shoot for Glamour Kills and some really dope press photos for their new album coming this Summer on Suretone, and guess who’s doing the artwork??!?! SONS OF NERO! haha :)

A Solid Sacramento Local band LA CIRCA hit me up to do their CD Artwork for their release Whisper Your Fate coming out on Negative Progression Records. The whole concept is about a man, getting tortured by another man for mistreating a woman. Pretty cool idea. The artwork is simple, but one of my favorites.

So I’ve been going through some old photos, and other people’s blogs and I decided I need to post a lot more Behind the Scenes photos. So I’ll start with a cool shot from BRING ME THE HORIZON “SUICIDE SEASON” CD Artwork shoot. The cover shot was not easy to capture. After 4 DIFFERENT SHOOTS, on 4 DIFFERENT DAYS we finally got the shot we needed. The shot included 3 yards of sausages, and a lot of fake blood (chocolate sauce & red food dye). If you haven’t picked up this record, it’s definitely is a must have.

I took the photographs for this artwork. The only added post-production was a little more texture to the guts, everything else was done by hand.

Our Friend Bryan Lemasters passed away this weekend. He was the front man for Catherine in the early years. RIP Bryan. We’ll miss you.

My boys in Catherine are back! I’m so happy to be back in Sacramento, and back with the great musical artists in Sacramento. Catherine has had a shack up of members, but the new stuff I heard yesterday in their practice room was superb! Keep an eye and ear on these guys, they’re going to do some great things!
