A Solid Sacramento Local band LA CIRCA hit me up to do their CD Artwork for their release Whisper Your Fate coming out on Negative Progression Records. The whole concept is about a man, getting tortured by another man for mistreating a woman. Pretty cool idea. The artwork is simple, but one of my favorites.

So I’ve been going through some old photos, and other people’s blogs and I decided I need to post a lot more Behind the Scenes photos. So I’ll start with a cool shot from BRING ME THE HORIZON “SUICIDE SEASON” CD Artwork shoot. The cover shot was not easy to capture. After 4 DIFFERENT SHOOTS, on 4 DIFFERENT DAYS we finally got the shot we needed. The shot included 3 yards of sausages, and a lot of fake blood (chocolate sauce & red food dye). If you haven’t picked up this record, it’s definitely is a must have.

It’s finally here! The First Ever SONS OF NERO Art Show is now hung at the Metropolis Art Gallery (Lancaster, PA) Portland spent his Wends. morning hanging the pieces with the gallery owners, in preparation for the show this weekend.
I catch my flight at 6:00AM tomorrow and will be back late Sunday. Should be an amazing weekend with friends, art, accomplishments, humility & a ton of fun.

Life Is Not A Waiting Room

SONS OF NERO & PHILLM have teamed up again for an amazing project for Vagrant Record’s Senses Fail upcoming release “Life Is Not A Waiting Room” The concept for the artwork is about a boy almost “awaiting the end of time” throughout the artwork the boy in a suit and gas mask is featured in common places, like a train station, phone booth, laundry mat and church steps.
Dont always judge a book by it’s cover, this artwork is some of the best.

My first BIG project with SONS OF NERO was the pioneers of the scene, A STATIC LULLABY (Some of the most rad dudes on the block) Their record entitled “Rattlesnake!” is due out SEPTEMBER 9 2008
Our first shoot started down in Los Angeles, so I packed my two favorite people Jory & Destiny in the car and headed down South. 9hrs and a whole lots of red bull we made it to the desert. Check out some Camera Phone photos of the trip!
