FOUR YEARS AGO TODAY I launched my first portfolio website. PHILLM started while I was still in community college, taking general education courses. I was working full time at Starbucks, and taking 18 units (6 Classes) at Community College. It wasn’t til about a year and a half later I decided to take it on full time. In March of 2006 I decided to leave Starbucks, drop my college courses mid semester, and max out all my credit cards to continue on this path of photography and design. One of the hardest & best decisions I’ve ever made.
Over the past 4 years I’ve been all across the country, worked with all sorts of artists, and companies and been to nearly 300 shows. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting Arenas, and basement house parties. Been published in several magazines & newspapers, and have been admired over seas. And with all of that, I still have so much more I want to do!
Expect amazing things coming in 2009!

Ah this week has been crazy, the past 6 months I have been doing a lot of graphic design, and have not been able to get behind the camera as much as I wanted to. Realizing that I decided that after the art show in Lancaster, I wanted to come back and get back to do my photo thing. And sure enough, the week after I get back, I have projects booked for 11 days straight. Now you’d think, 11 days straight. Crazy. But no, I am actually very prepared for the work load, and excited about each and every shoot.
Here are some projects I’m working on this week:
WATCHOUT! THERES GHOSTS “GHOST TOWN” CD Artwork
LA CIRCA Press / Promotional Photos
ALL SHALL PERISH Rockett Photos
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA Live in San Francisco
UNDERNEATH THE GUN CD Artwork
CATHERINE Press / Promotional Photos
CATHERINE CD Artwork
LA CIRCA CD Artwork
MISERY SIGNALS Press / Promotional Photos
NORINA KENORA Press / Promotional Photos
A great list of projects, that I’m so excited about. So if I’m distant, or hard to get a hold of, you know why. Also, finally, a break from making myspaces! (granted, I enjoy them)
I also have a huge project I’m putting a proposal together for, which could be gigantic, so please keep your fingers crossed, and send your best wishes!
